I actually wrote my first Kaleidoscope program on the Commodore Amiga years ago. Because you could rotate the palette, the kaleidoscope constantly changed colors - but you didn't have any ALPHA for transparency effects nor could you take an image and rotate it.

Years later I made one in QBasic on IBM-pc, also rotating the palette, then GFABasic with a larger playfield, 640x480 instead of 320x200, and now ... BlitzMAX.

But instead of drawing vectors, this kaleidoscope is simplified to easy moving rotating bars that paint the screen.

The music method is from seeing that you can access a website inside BlitzMAX.
