Fails to compile with gluBuild3DMipmaps()

gluBuild3DMipmaps() is defined in glu.bmx, so I am not sure why this is failing:

not sure but If I am not mistaken you should be using 2D Textures. gluBuild3DMipmaps is only available if the GLU version is 1.3 or greater.

maybe gluBuild2DMipmaps?

GLTexFromPixmap builds mipmaps by default. (This a Blitz Max function, not an OpenGL one). You could try using that instead.
