How to read B3D model with Bmax and display it whit opengl ?

I am sure when the MAX3D mod comes out there will be several file formats including b3d.

right now with OpenGL, you can use Terabits loader. in the forums somewhere...

Terabits loader is within the samples as well :)

Terabit wrote a loader that will read a .b3d file and display it using OpenGL. Mark is most likely working on a loader for the MAX3D module due out in a few months. the question becomes, do you want to write an 'unoptimized' loader or wait a few months for a BRL one.

I would wait and work on other aspects of your app

patmaba: as mentioned, check the samples of your BM for terabits B3D loader ... then you have the needed source :)

I can't find this code anywhere in the samples that came with BlitzMax. Could someone give me better directions as to where it can be found. Thanks.

It is, but I think it's an earlier version that didn't have the .b3d code.
