Hey guys,

Im trying to get two models to load up correctly for a game im making. im having troubles getting the alphas to display correctly when loading them up with minib3d. i'm using ultimate unwrap to apply the textures and alphas to my models and exported them as b3ds but the textures dont come out correctly when i load them up in minib3d. i've included zips of the b3d's, textures, and u3d's for two different models here.

the first link is of a house with a fire escape who's alphas is what im having trouble with and the second is a tree with the leaves not showing any transparency.

i've tried playing around with the settings in UU3D as well as checking the png's in photoshop. havent really made any progress. any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've just looked at the building... is it a single mesh?

Being a single mesh, using 2 textures, no wonder the alpha doesn't appear - the texture flags used are the one from the first texture.

Check UU exporter - which is collapsing the meshes into a single one. For this to work, it should export a "master" pivot, with the building as one child-mesh, and the stairs as another child.

Or you could join both textures into one, which would be faster to render, no state switching and keep the exporter as it is - but that would mean havint to reskin the 3d model.
