Havent a Ipad yet so i cant test it but :

Whats the speeddifference about your Minib3d Ipad Vs Iphone App.

How much cubes can u create and show in 3d on your ipad with 60 or less FPS ?

depends on the generation of iPhone you're comparing, and a number of other factors (textures, other memory factors etc.).

You can hit up wikipedia for the (unofficial) hardware stats for various iOS devices. Basically the iPad is the most powerful processor, but the iPhone 4 has more ram. However the iPhone 4 has a double density screen (more actual pixels) but the iPad has a larger resolution display... so there's many trade offs between devices, and that's not factoring in older systems.

I haven't had any performance problems in any real world uses of iMiniB3d on anything from the first gen iPhone through iPhone 4 and iPad. It runs a tiny bit slower on first get iPod touch (the very least powerful iOS device in all respects, especially graphically) compared to a first gen iPhone, but really that's a totally dead device in the real world...

There's also secondary concerns like collision detection, background threads potentially, network time if applicable, texture size, memory footprint, using pure C++ or Objective C, or both, etc. etc.
