Following parent joints

Is there a simple way I can have one animated object, like an arm moving about and then create another model, like clothes that have the same joints as the animated arm but no animations and then make the clothes object follow the arm object ingame?
I guess, basically locking the clothes joints to the arm joints, so no matter what animations I make for the arm, the clothes will always follow the arm correctly.
