I took the mess in Torque's OpenGL2D3D thing, the code itself covers enough GL thing and some basic ARB part, according to the source it should translate between GL 1.4 and DX8, I'm trying to plug it into MiniB3D if that can solve some issues.

As far as I know it's forbidden to use it outside Torque unless there's any written permision tho, the tests may never see the light due to this restriction...

If I'm remembering correctly, the gl2d3d code was originally written for Quake. In one of the earlier TGE versions (1.2 and below, maybe?) I remember it having all of the copyright/license comments left in. Apparently those are gone now for some reason.

It's since been ported (and possibly updated beyond what's included in Torque) by the DooM Legacy team. You can find the GPL version of the code: here.
