Maplet OSX?

BlitzMax Forums/MiniB3D Module/Maplet OSX?

Is there anything very similar to Maplet for OSX? MiniB3D would be absolutely complete for me if I had that sister program to make easy indoor maps.

Is there a way to get mark to port it? Or let someone else port it?

Thanks.

Mark has lost the source for Maplet..hehe

some kind of community minib3d editor would make a great project, I'd certainly be interested in participating in

Anyone else?

I think minib3d would be the perfect language to create a 'Maplet II' program with. CSG anyone?

fredborg is working on a new version of GILE[s] that is supposed to be multi-platform. That will take care of the lightmapping part.

I am not aware of any level-design. level editor type programs that export to .b3d. In fact, I am not aware of any program that is Mac OSX that will export a .b3d.

I use Unwrap3D to import/export (Windows only)

you could try these modellers though.

Personally. I think Blender is well worth investing some time into.

I think there is a b3d exporter for Blender, which would let you model on a Mac. No idea how robust the exporter is though.
