There's 2 problems I found when used FLTK GUI on Windows:
* Toolbar buttons has no states (you cannot use button as on/off switch)
* Localization doesn't work (displays trash instead of localized strings)

Is there any reason why you would want to use FLTK on Windows? Aside from checking if the layout will be as expected for the Linux version of the GUI?

FLTK really is but ugly if you ask me. So I'm very curious to know why you would want to use it on Windows.

It may be easier to customize. Also keeps it independent of the Windows user's themes.
