Is anybody interested in taking part in a paid MaxGUI project? I'm just trying to gauge interest. The workload/scope can be varied depending upon what you can offer.

We need a game content editor, and game materials are stored in XML files. We're using LibXml to edit them (available from Brucey's modules of course). We have a simple version of the editor which lets you preview a turret graphic from different angles, and use sliders to reposition the different parts. You can also click and drag on the preview window to move things around.

We need something much more advanced, and capable of editing turret stats such as hitpoints, firepower, etc and eventually other kinds of game content. The editor should be able to parse files and dynamically build up its own library of turrets/objects, not just hardcode the possibilities. The hardest part will be laying out the gui so that it's user-friendly, and there should be shortcuts to speed up common tasks.

Don't worry about the preview/graphics window, the code for that will be provided for you.

You must agree to give me permanent and unrestricted permission to use your code for any purpose. After the project has been completed, I intend to continue with its development to add new features as and when required and possibly to adapt it for use in new games.

The project doesn't need to be completed in one big go. You can make a basic editor, and we can decide again for you to continue work for additional payment adding more features to it as the game evolves.

Depends a bit on how big this editor should be and what your timeline is, I may interested.
