Hello alltogether, I guess there's a very simple solution for my problem, I just don't get it right now. I have a main-window and child-window. I need the menu-bar in both windows but when adding menus with CreateMenu in the 2nd win, the new menus just get added after the old ones. How can I hide the menus from the first window as long as the 2nd one is used? FreeMenu doesn't do it unfortunately. Many thanks in advance Simon

Can child-windows have a menu bar normally? Under Windows I really don't remember if I've ever seen it... Only if you have 2 independent windows you can have 2 different menu bar - I believe. edit: I've re-read your post today amd I realized you required about MacOS...maybe on this platform thins are different.
