Line Numbers?

Is there a way to display line numbers for my code in BlitzMax?

You mean in the IDE? No. If the IDE used Scintilla, then you could display line numbers. :P

The IDE itself does keep track of your line number - look at the bottom right of the MaxIDE for Line and Char. Does that help or is this something you need to do with MaxGUI (seeing as this is in the GUI thread)?

A user-gadget based on'canvas' textarea was already started for MaxGUI CE...but never completed - there are the source in the .zip file for MaxGUI CE. It manages line number (and folding if I remember correctly)
