Can't sync maxgui modules

I purchased new laptop w/ Vista , and I downloaded BMax and its Upgrades , but when I try syncronize modules , it syncronizes only brl and pub but not maxgui or other updates and gives error message when trying to build: Building messageinput Linking:messageinput.debug.exe C:/Program Files/BlitzMax/bin/ld.exe: cannot open output file C:/Program Files/BlitzMax/omat/messageinput.debug.exe: Permission denied Build Error: Failed to link C:/Program Files/BlitzMax/omat/messageinput.debug.exe Process complete what I am doing wrong Previous XP machine worked well

Turn off User Account Control.

Right-click the MaxIDE icon and choose "run as administrator."

Wow, :) Thanks to you one issue with Vista is over.

You'll probably still want to disable UAC as there are other issues which run as administrator will not solve. Lots of ways to do it. I prefer control panel. http://www.petri.co.il/disable_uac_in_windows_vista.htm
