How can I get all the text in a textfield to be selected? I tried a forum search but that returned one result which said to use ActivateGadget on the text field. Unfortunately, that doesn't select anything, it just gives the text field the focus ( which is what it is supposed to do, so I'm not suggesting that it *should* select the text, indeed i don't think it should. Merely pointing out that it was claimed it did, and it doesn't. )
I've also read Assari's tutorials and there's no reference to it there either, so perhaps it's not possible, but I see that Java text fields have a SelectAll Method, so I'm hoping it is.
I also note that text areas have a SelectTextAreaText function for them, but I can't find an equivalent for text fields, and areas and fields are not interchangeable. ( ugly scroll bars, for one. )
