By using Labels: yes. By using draw commands: no

.. or create a canvas on the panel and draw into the canvas..

A transparent canvas? The mac has a non solid background to it's panel!

There is no transparent canvas. All you could do, which is deadly slow, is put the canvas on a hidden window, render it there and grab the pixmap to set the panelpixmap

I used draw commands to make text on a canvas, works fine, I admit that I used an old character ROM from a 48K spectrum, it looks great! it is possible to put text on a canvas using draw commands!

uh like manually do all kinda rect, line, oval and plot commands to form words? Sure, if you like that.. (o_O) .. but why bother, use another font, or use an image..
