MaxGui - Missing Borders...
BlitzMax Forums/MaxGUI Module/MaxGui - Missing Borders...

Using the latest BlitzMax and MaxGui on the latest version of OS X. There are no borders around the following objects, unless they are focused, and only the focus border shows: * HTMLView * ListBox * TextArea * TreeView The TextField is fine as it shows it's normal border when focused and not focused. -Garrett |

They look fine to me. What are you comparing them to consider their current look a bug? |

Everything else in every other application has borders, and all the other dev systems I use, all the gui objects that are suppose to have borders, do have borders. But for some reason unknown to me, through BlitzMax and MaxGui the objects in question do not have any border at all. :-( -Garrett |

I'll toss some screen shots together so you can see, and upload them to my server. -Garrett |

You'll notice in the first window showing, the BlitzMax/MaxGui window, that there are absolutely no borders around any of the objects at all. The second window has borders around 3 of the 4 objects, but obviously has issues with no border around it's html object also. BTW, not trying to promote another product here, but it was readily available to toss an example gui together for this screen shot. Please don't beat me senseless ;-) -Garrett |

Arf! Sorry, didn't realize that pasting the url to the image would make it show up in the post. I meant only for the url to the image to be in the post so that it could be viewed seperately from the forum. -Garrett |

I don't consider this a bug but am open to improving the look and feel of CocoaMaxGUI so don't hesitate to post any mods you find that improve the situation for you. |

Well, I might be able to do something for that. I was able to get some extra button styles working on the OS X side of things, so maybe I'll take a look into the borders and see if it's a simple tweak like the buttons were. :-) -Garrett |
