All bah modules via subversion?
BlitzMax Forums/Brucey's Modules/All bah modules via subversion?

Hi Brucey, why don't you make all of your great modules - provided at your site - available via subversion? It's much easier to get them from there than downloading them all and extraction them. Thanks for your replay, Artemis |

I'm slowly moving them over :-) It's a lot of work, and some of them may not play nice under the MIT-style license, which means some may have to stay where they are now. It takes time to sort everything out - per module. I check for updates (if there are new libs out for wrapping), test the mod to see it works properly, perhaps update the code, setup the repository, add a wiki entry, update the original page. You'll see that some of them have moved already. But currently there are more in their original location than are at googlecode. Sure, I could spend a weekend moving everything, but then I wouldn't get to play in Blitz :-) |

Oh, and on a happy note, Google Code have introduced some nice repository browsing utils. You can now quickly see what's been happening in the repository : http://code.google.com/p/maxmods/source/list :-) |

Thanks for reply Brucey. I can understand it. Happy coding. ;-) |

You can use http://www.origo.ethz.ch instead. SVN + much more, closed and open source projects, you decide the license therefor. |
