FontConfig - Crash on MacIntel

| Hi Brucey, I would like to have a play with Cairo but whenever Cairo uses FontConfig the output window informs me it can't load the config file and stops. I tried to run the examples in FontConfig but they all crash [eg: 'The application fonttest quit unexpectedly'] before anything happens. Are there any special installation procedures I might have missed? It seems to me FontConfig is unable to create a config file? Ghislain MacIntel - OsX 10.5 - BlitzMax 1.28 |

| Just an update. On windows I have to run a[ny] FontConfig example and copy the conf-file to the Cairo-example folder before the Cairo-examples which use text run properly.. Ghislain MacIntel - OsX 10.5 - BlitzMax 1.28 |

| I found the same (some info there) but seeing as wxMax has some pdf routines you may as well shift over to that. |

| Ghislain, I believe the problem actually lies with the FreeType module, as it is crashing with the default BlitzMax one for me too. However, using the latest FreeType library, it works as expected. If you want I can post the updated FreeType module for you to test with... and then perhaps we can see if BRL will update the "official" mod :-) |
