bmk 64-bit multithreaded fails...
BlitzMax Forums/Brucey's Modules/bmk 64-bit multithreaded fails...

Hi Brucey, Do you know if it should be possible to build bmk as 64-bit multithreaded? I mean, it builds fine and produces an executable, it's just that it then fails to build modules here... I seem to recall that multithreaded bmk could build many modules at a time, but if I build bmk as 64-bit with multithreading, rebuilding all modules -- as a test more than anything -- gets stuck on the first module (appstub?). Rebuilding bmk as 64-bit single-threaded, it works fine with 64-bit/mt bcc and MaxIDE. I'm just trying to figure out if it should work in 64-bit/mt. Whether or not there's any point, I don't know... just seems a bit odd, given MaxIDE and bcc work fine as 64-bit/mt. |

Yes, it should work (it's the build I use on OS X - bmk 3.10 mt-macos-osx-x64 / clang 700.1.81 (cpu x4) ), but there's always a chance something may be broken on Windows. I'll look into it :-) |
