wxLocale for wxMessageBox on linux

On linux the default messages from wxWidgets are not localized.
I downloaded the german language file from http://www.wxwidgets.org/about/i18n.php. But all buttons of a wxMessageBox stay english. Strange is that other translations such as a menu item created with wxID_ABOUT is translated correct.

The debuglog is translated but the buttons of the message box is not
