Runing cmd progs/externals using blitzmax

| Hello all :D So this is my first post here some of you might be following my worklog (porb not lol) but anyhow I am wondering is there an command in blitzmax that can trigger external programs ? i just installed a espeak.exe wich runs on command lines(cmd) so i can make my blitzzmax program talk or could i import the espeak.exe as a binary? or a program stream to run it from whit in my code? the main reason i need a tts is for my "thinking" computer program and for in my wizzard game and i stopped by to say hi all! :) ps:i am using windows xp |
