I need users to be able to generate a movie file of the output from my app in a format that's acceptable by YouTube. it needs to be integrated so they don't need an external program such as fraps or quicktime X to make a recording, and also so I can edit out loading screens etc.
Can anyone suggest a mod for capturing the back buffer to a movie file before each flip()? Even if it slows things down I can modify the frame tween so that the movie is at a good speed even if it draws slowly... I just don't want to have to grab the back buffer to a huge pile of jpegs or something and then figure out how to stitch those into a movie...
