The question is...if you don't set a graphics mode, you get this cool box where you can see stuff you "print" and your frames per second is like over 380,000. Ok, I make a graphics box and of course after putting in Flip (even Flip 0), the framerate dips to a little over 200 fps.

Is there a way to have a true console interface where you don't need graphics and your FPS is sky high...but where you can type in commands etc?
