Cross platform Webcam Capture + Wrapping in BMax

| Hello, I need to capture some WebCam footage into my program and although this has already been made possible on Windows I cannot find a cross platform solution which is what I need. Brucey suggested wrapping OpenCV which does seem like the best option but I haven`t a clue as to where to start. Would anyone be kind enough to write a short tutorial on how to wrap these sorts of things in BMax? I would be most grateful and am sure that it would benefit lots of other users here too.
