Which version of MinGW to use?

I`m about to reinstall MinGW, which version should I be using for the latest BMax? Can I use the latest version or is it still 5-1-3? Thanks for any help, Jason.

yes install the newest is the one that works with the latest version of bmax. I had some problems a few days back with an older version when trying to run code that used API calls. It was missing some some definitions.

I'm using 5-1-4 with the laresr bmx 1.3.3r5. Works fine here.
