I'm getting a Process Failure with "C:/BlitzMax/bin/syncmods" -u xxxx -p xxxxx error when I try to synchronize modules. I've searched Google extensively without coming up with anything...

That's because there is nothing to synchronize any more. Development updates are now available via SVN. See here for more information. It's either that, or wait until the next release :-)
