OS apps on Mac with BlitzMax..?
BlitzMax Forums/BlitzMax Beginners Area/OS apps on Mac with BlitzMax..?

Hello, I purchased BlitzPlus for Windows back in 2003. I have since gotten an iMac, and love the Mac system! Can BlitzMax be used to create normal OSX applications, or is ONLY 2D games and such? I have read about BlitzMax in here, but couldn't find anything about this? |

Sorry, I read around some more, and now understand that it requires a seperate purchase of a GUI module. |

Hello BachFire I am not sure that now she is thus, But before if you had blitzplus you had also the license of MaxGui. I had the Blizplus and I did not have to buy maxgui. |
| ||
It's not required, but it's a LOT easier with it. |

From the products page Special offer! For a limited time, MaxGUI is available *free* to owners of BlitzPlus who have bought BlitzMax! Go to the 'register product' section of the 'Account' page above and register MaxGUI using your BlitzPlus user ID. Make sure you have the latest version of BlitzMax installed (available from the 'updates and betas' section of the community page) and then use the synchronize modules feature to install MaxGUI! |

Oh, that sounds nice. I'll purchase BlitzMax later today, and get crackin'.. And the MaxGUI free? Yeah! Thanks for your input guys. |
