Ok I should know this.
(In fact I did know this, but suddenly cannot remember)

What is the ascii value for return?
And what is the string shortcut for return?

Thanks in advance for not laughing at me

10 no 13, no 10 *and* 13 oh blast it depends what platform you're on!

windows platforms tend to do carriage return and line feed

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newline

it looks like unicode has 8 different line breaks

OMG run away!

Not laugh? You must be kidding.
Anyway, does this help...
Graphics 640,480
While Not KeyHit(KEY_ESCAPE)
	Cls
	DrawText WaitKey() , 0 , 0
	Flip
Wend

or the huge list in the Keycodes section of Bmax doc :)

yea yea.
Ok so I had a Block.
I was sitting here writing Debug console checks, and I went Blank.

Sure Im not the first.

@Tonyg, WHould I put Delay before or after the flip? hahahahaha

Now the 'nice' side of me suspects this is referring to Blitz applications taking all the CPU without a delay statement.
However, the 'nasty' side of me thinks it's the misguided belief the key value will be cleared too quickly.

Nice or nasty? Nice or nasty?
:)

Just me trying to save face by pretending I know something. (Which you ruined by your reply ;)

ALthough, Imust admit, that I've never seen a waitkey as part of another command line before, and it did catch me out when I just glanced at it.

On a side note, did you know that the "Traditinal Spanish" Keyboard doesnt have a ~ Key. Which must be a pain for Bmax esc codes.
