Age of Empires map system

| I was wondering how the Army Men map system works, when I remembered that the old Age of Empires series had the same exact look (a game that's probably more familiar to most of you). Anyway... Do they just use a bigger "tile" system? I remember AOE had a map editor; maybe it created an array where you could place tiles down? Please enlighten me ;) |
