Hi
I don't know what exactly animated textures are. How can i create (i am using Gimp) and where can i use them in 2D and 3D games.

Thanks!

have a look in the BLTZ3D help , function "LoadAnimTexture" you have an example with a bmp file.

C:\Program Files\Blitz3D\help\commands\3d_examples\LoadAnimTexture.bb

Moraldi,

i just realize that you post in blitzmax section and I answer for blitz3d.

You have right, i am a Blitz3D user!. I realized too after i posted for first time. But doesn't matter
because i think animated textures are common to BlitzMax and Blitz3D. In any case thanks for your help. I saw that in "media" folder animated .bmp file is just a series of frames with constand dimensions in order to be displayed frame after frame and have the illusion of animation. Also thank to Perturbatio because the programm i downloaded from the proposed site is simple but very usefull to me
