BlitzMax Sound Support?

hiya all....

I just be looking at BlitzMax Sound as I was putting music in but what does BlitzMAX support?

.wav? .midi? .sid? .it?

please let me know.

From the documentation...
"BlitzMax contains native support for sound files in both .wav (uncompressed) and .ogg (compressed) file formats."

only 2 sound files such wav (uncompressed) and .ogg that BlitzMax....as I thought BlitzMax can do wav/.midi/.sid/.it as well.

I got Load of C64 Music such as .sid

I have do goggle search for WAV music as I am crap with music stuff

If you search these forums you'll see people looking into FMOD, OpenAL and other 'wrappers'.

BRL were looking into FMOD but dropped it because of the prohibitive cost of the licence for commercial use.

There is however support in the pipeline in the way of an FMOD wrapper done by some friendly users...

I believe there are also 3rd party modules handling SID and NSF music.

it would be nice if someone have the library for sound that blitzmax of handling sid/ mid /it and more :)
