I happened to be at a Borders bookstore briefly today, looking at some books in a section for "game programming". They had a copy of Game Programming For Teens there, the new 2nd edition one I guess. I thought it was cool to see a Blitz-focussed book out in the public for sale. It's got some interesting tutorials and stuff. It reminds me of a game programming book I bought once about programming games in Amos Basic on the Amiga. It's definitely a good introduction to learning stuff when you are fairly new to programming. While this new book is mainly for BlitzPlus I'm sure most of it would translate fairly easily to coding in BlitzMax. Just wanted to give my thumbs up. I didn't buy it, but it looks cool.

Well hey, good going! A book like that is definitely a big help for beginners.
