Will BMax for linux run on a ps2 linux kit?

Not yet no, only Intel PC's are supported currently.

The PS2 doesn't use x86 architecture, it will not work.

Then how all other programms will work? These kit is supported to run any linux programm.

I could be wrong, but you need to compile the code specifically for the platform and OS.
which is why a BMax program for x86 linux won't run on PPC linux.

A good question, one which requires further experimentation by someone with a PS2 running linux.

They don't. Most programs work, because the source is available and a recompiling it will usually be sufficient to port it.

You'll still need something to compile the BlitzMAX parts.

All I got was a red screen with a dump of the heap stack or something.
