Are there any good file packers that can be used in Blitzmax?

is there a reason you don't want to use incbin? (just asking).

Snarkbait(Posted 2005) [#5]
incbin and the zlib module seem to make external packers unneeded...

Ive almost finished writing my first game in bmax and using incbin...

Is it all loaded into memory and then loaded into memory from memory using this method?

I dont seem to have much media (the exe is just over 1meg) but yet the memory footprint of the game (in Task Manager) is about 60meg. :O

I don't even have any music in the game yet either.

Am I doing something wrong?

I think having the option to use something like terabit packer would be nice... Can the source be converted over easily? I'm sure it only used native commands and such?
