Hi, I was wondering if any skilled-programmer type persons out there had considered making some of the free, multiplatform, options out there available in BlitzMax.

Some of my favorites are Fox ( http://www.fox-toolkit.com/ ) and Tk ( http://www.tcl.tk/software/tcltk/ )

The Blitz Research group is working on an official plugin so I don't know that there is a lot of incentive to do a third party one, although I think some people are working on gui systems of their own.

Yeh most people are just waiting for BRL to release theirs... I think there are a few small modules out there but they all (to my knowledge) deal with Win32 API only.

As far as BRL's module goes, FLTK is likely to be involved in some form...

there's Noel Cower's GUI but that uses openGL and drawing commands. Seems fast enough though.

Thanks for the replies. :)

It looks like Noel's GUI is not available at the moment but I'll keep my eye out for it.

And I'm trying really, really hard to be good and not ask when the BRL GUI module is due out. ;)

I assume BRL's module will be fully featured and skinnable?
