Nvidia geforce 2 go drivers

Just bought a laptop that has an Nvidia geforce 2 32MB card.
I decided to try it out with BMax to see how it runs and the
samples are very jerky (Digesteroids/OldSkool) I've run a few
Blitz 3D/2D compiled games (Dizzy/Cybernoid/3D Invaders)and they're grand, run at a normal speed with no problems.
I'm thinking maybe it's the driver, just wondering what the best drivers are currently to use.
I remember having problems with Nvidia drivers on my desktop
GFX Card before where the latest drivers were not always the best.
Anyone know what would be a good set of drivers for Blitzmax

For Blitzmax which is based on OpenGL and not on DirectX as Blitz3D, you should get the latest OpenGL driver for your graphic card.

Once done, BMax applications will run at a stellar speed.

you can not install desktop drivers on your mobile, they refuse installation!

post back if improved drivrs help... i was offered a laptop with GO gfx, dont want it if its slow oin BMax.

Managed to find drivers eventually on the dell site.
All the samples run ok now so those drivers'll do
for the time being,
coffeedotbean: the only demo i can find with
a framerate was vidiots radial blur demo which
gives 20 fps. The card seems fine for development
though.
The machine is a Dell Inspiron 2650 P4 Mobile 1.6 GHZ BTW

One easy way of finding out the framerate for any OpenGL or DirectX application under Windows is with Fraps, http://www.fraps.com

It will run in the background, and can automatically put a little FPS counter in a corner of your screen when you run OpenGL or DirectX apps, without having to add any code to your actual program. Very convenient for quick tests.
