3D based gui

Hi guys..
A question..
Does it make sense making a gui based on 3D?
For example open gl..

If you do think so... which one will you recommend under blitzmax?

Hey!
What do you mean 'by based on 3d'?
If its just going to be a 3d representation of a 2d interface then theres no point other than it being eye candy for games etc.

If however you are talking a truly 3 dimensional functional gui then you could possibly change the whole future of GUIs altogether ;-)

I want to be able to make also 3D gui elements.. [Ill also Add sound..]
same like alba lynx did..
It will open for others to add/manipulate.. as well..

Col.. its relativaly easy to me to make such a gui..
comparing to my 3D editor..

You will see results pretty fast since I will release
my progress really fast..

Im going to base it upon xors 3d unless someone will come with a better offer..

I know xors 3d is dead, but the principle is what matters..
and im pretty good at xors3d

changing engine is relativally easy..

There's already a 3D gui in blitz3d which you can port to Max, I forgot the name but I think it was like Draw3D or something

Edit: It's Draw3D2 by hectic

Ive already made the bone engine.. tnx col
