I'm sure devil gui is pretty much dead as far as development goes. But I was wondering if I could get some help conserning it.

I have a window with a file menu and sub menu's new, open, save, save as..., and exit as options (all enabled). Yet when I click on them no events are registered.

I did some updating to the lib to fit my needs so maybe it was the alterations that are causing my problem. I tried the sample.bb with my altered devil gui, and the menu system works as expected. I'm not doing anything that should effect it. The only thing that I can think of is that some of the gadgets are off the main window, they work fine. I don't know what to do.

ok found a work around for the above. but now i have another question.

I'm trying to get a file explorer'ish type window to open a specific file type. but for now, all i want is to be able to traverse directories. using the default DevilGUI library. here is the code.
