Hi all,

1. When we use physics in game engine, is it helpful to use with a physics visual editor?
Some physics editor do not have export physics data function. eg. Scythe Physics Editor (http://www.physicseditor.com/download.shtml)
Some do. eg. [K]ODE editor (http://www.lcuriel.arrakis.es/kode/) It exports physics data for C++ and Blitz3D.

2. Are there any other physics editor (with or without export function)?

Thanks in advance.

1.)I never used one as I haven't used physics but visual editors are always helpful, like particle editors. What you see is what you get works perfect for something you need to see the results immidately like physics and particles.
2.) There is EasyTok as far as I know, but I don't have any more knoweldge. You might want to search for it though.

Depends on the physics system you use.

Newton has the Newton Playground

Thanks.

@Mortiis: EasyTok is just a tokamak wrapper and not a visual editor.

Edit: There is 'APE' for tokamak.

@Dreamora: Just downloaded "Newton Playground" and played it(with 40 demos). Very interesting!
It could export to XML. Could we use it in Blitz3D?

BTW, it was written in Delphi. Should it run fast?
