Tokamak collision information

Erm... I'm really sorry to bring this out of the "indicated tokamak section"... but I need some help. I'm trying to put together an engine that mainly uses tokamak collisions insted of everyday blitz collisions... but could someone help me understand how to detect what object (or kind of object) has collided with another object.

If I'm not making any sense I pretty much mean like when you have two objects using blitz collision.
You have one defined as a monster and one as a bullet.
You want the monster to die whenever it gets hit by a bullet.

Also... could someone point out how to use the tokamak version of a "linepick"?

I'd prefur a little coded demo with a breif explanation...
