Does anyone know the math for blurring pixels,sharpening,ect.

dude, do a google on 'convolution matrix', with this you can blur, sharpen, create (ugly) filters like wood patterns, etc..

it might not be what you are looking for if you want anything like this in realtime, but it's good stuff anyway..
