How to stop Tok spheres from ever-rolling

I asked on the original list about spheres that wouldn't stop rolling, and Bradford6 said it was a known bug and 'can be fixed in a variety of ways'.

Try as I can I can't find even one way that works!! Has anyone got an idea for a workaround to stop slow-moving spheres in Tokamak? I've tried setting angular velocities to 0 when very small but that doesn't work.

Did you set the momentum to 0?

Setting linear&angular velocity to 0 and linear&angular momentum to 0 as well should make the sphere stop.
Not sure wether it goes idle or not though.

it's not a bug.

Set angular dampening to make it roll to a stop. You can set this once if you like.

DO as sweenie said

The sphere will go idle only if its colliding (looking at my tests thought ;) )

it's not a bug.

Then it must be a feature!
