Here is an excellent new tutorial by Blitz user 'Teasey': I just wanted to let you guys that I have finished my last (large) Blitz tutorial for everyone to see/read/absorb. I'm sending this directly to you so that it can be shared with all Blitz-related coders. This way I hope this tutorial will have at least some use to some more people :) The tutorial can be read online: http://www.bettiesart.com/tc/blitz/xnon/xnon.html Or it can be downloaded directly: http://www.bettiesart.com/tc/blitz/The%20making%20of%20X-NON.zip On my Blitz website more helpful tutorials and resources can be found: http://www.bettiesart.com/tc/blitz/ The focus is learning games programming in Blitz. Thank you, Teasy |

very good :) |

Nice :) I was looking at the Tilemap code and found out that if you check the collisions separately, one for the X axis and another for the Y axis, it allows you to keep moving instead of just stopping whenever you collide. I wish Blitz3D would give the Normal of the collision in 2D just like it does in 3D. |
