Hello, a particle system that is free and recommended acceptable outcome. Thank me put links where they are.

Regards.

hi

you can use the ToolBox: http://blitzbasic.com/toolbox/toolbox.php
it's a good starting point

in "other libs" you find some particle systems:
http://blitzbasic.com/toolbox/toolbox.php?cat=15

another useful tool is the Code Archives Search made by Semar:
http://blitzbasic.com/Community/posts.php?topic=88773#1047575
an invaluable tool to look on someone else posted working code.

and last but not least, each forum has a "Search" funtion

i personally try some of this tools first, there are many threads on this forumus about same questions, doing a search on the specific forum, nomally answers our questions.

regards (un abrazo)

Juan

Recommended (free): Devil's Child Particle System - Not so fast as the solution below but is free and comes in open-source form. Great reference.

Recommended (commercial): Particle Candy - It's very fast (purchase system seems broken though).

Charrua gracias por la infor :).

El sistema Particle Candy se ve muy bueno he probado los demos, pero lamentablemente no tengo dinero.

Creo que el Devil's es una buna opción.

Un saludo desde sur america :D.

@yue

please, don't know if it's mandatory (should be written somewhere for sure), but common sense tell me that all of us have to post/answer in english.

isn't it?

probably one or two words in a foreing language won't be a problem, a greeting, an exclamation but no more than that.

naturally that spanish is easier for both, but the thread posts must be of use/interest to the comunity and not restricted to only a few ones.

Regards

Juan

I still have the Lotus particle engine here (which was public domain). Lotus was really powerful...

Yue(Posted 2011) [#8]
Xaron, where download Lotus particle??

Yasha(Posted 2011) [#9]
Lotus is spread over two Code Archives entries:
http://www.blitzbasic.com/codearcs/codearcs.php?code=1654
http://www.blitzbasic.com/codearcs/codearcs.php?code=1657

Never got it working myself.

Also check out these:

RifRaf's mesh based lib:

A "simple" particle system:

I'll upload Lotus. It comes with rather many examples and was pretty easy to use.

Yue(Posted 2011) [#11]
Xaron Lotus, samples... Where?

Vorderman(Posted 2011) [#12]
Yes I use Lotus, and it's very good. I've just converted it to work with Xors also, which seems to work well at the moment.

Krischan(Posted 2011) [#13]
If you mean this system, there is a active download link with some examples available:

Yue(Posted 2011) [#14]
Thanks Crischan :D.

stayne(Posted 2011) [#15]
Download link doesn't work on my end Krischan.

Xaron(Posted 2011) [#16]
It should because it's my server. ;) Well ok, maybe it was down some minutes. Now it should work again.

stayne(Posted 2011) [#17]
Got it, thanks bud.
