Just did a fresh install of B3D. I "was" planning on starting a new project. Consider this a fresh computer for b3d.

So i was gonna try and use BlitzOgre3D. But I got a MAV error.
Then I said fine and was gonna use DSS (an oldy but goody in blitz). But I get a MAV. So at this point I'm starting to get frustrated. But the sample apps work, great :|

BTW...
Win7, 2GB Ram, Ati Radeon HD 3850
Newest blitz update and newest graphics card update.

Any ideas, any help is much appreciated.

For starters, did you move the required *.decls files into the Blitz3D /userlibs folder? Also are the required *.dll files where they need to be?

Why are you trying to use BlitzOgre3D (which is made for BlitzMax) with Blitz3D?

BlitzOgre3D (which is made for BlitzMax)

Sounds like that may be the problem right there :)

@GaryV Well BlitzOgre3D was originally Blitz3D and then got moved to BlitzMax. From what I hear there at almost the same development level.

And yes I did install the DECLS.

Im beginning to wonder if this is all a Dx7 issue with ATI cards like I hear.

Turning on Debug mode ought to provide a more descriptive error.

How about the DLL?
