I have a user who's bought Tank Universal and is running XP Pro 64bit (would be one of the few I suspect) and he's finding the game won't start.

I asked him to try running in XP compatibility mode and it seems to get a bit further but it's still failing apparently - probably when it tries to create a 3d graphics window.

Has anyone had any experience/problems in getting Blitz3d progs to run under XP64bit?

Tell him to check DEP and if he has tablet services enabled, to change the compatibility settings to disable advanced text services.

Basically its kind of his fault because XP 64bit is a business only windows. It was never publically released as home user OS and has a pretty crappy driver and software support on that end too.
