It seems there was a vaporware EAL .dll floating around. I haven't had any luck finding it but I'm looking for something to replaced the regular 3d sound in blitz3d. Any help is appreciated.

..I think I have few sound libraries on my archive HD..few of them did quite nice job when i use to play with..lemme know if you interested..

Sure. Anything to replace the cracking and popping of the native 3d sound system. Thanks NA.

I remember hearing Tom's EAL demo .dll. That thing was awesome and quite a few people were following it. Too bad he never released it. Wasn't it called bass.dll or something like that?

I'm suprised no one has written an openAL wrapper or documented/decl'd the API yet. (The one in the archives is for bmax not b3d).

Might get around doing it for my own stuff eventually - but atm thats way down the list of priorities.

Ah thanks NA. That is helpful. But what I was looking for was a .dll of OpenAL for blitz3d. Like the one tom was working on.

Great code though. Thanks!

I might give a go of creating decls for it later today - gotta go out atm.
