I'm using Vista and it seems nothing I do will change the folder from Read Only.... :(

Oh, I did research and I know that even if it's marked as that...that might not be the case. But in my instance it is because I change the BlitzIDE.prefs to edit_backup 0 and it still spits out 2 back ups. That's my problem. EDIT: Actually it's disregarding everything in my .prefs. Like it isn't even there. Anyone know how to fix it?

Ok. Right click the ide.exe and set to Run As Administrator. That let's it read the .prefs.

Yea, I had trouble when deleting userlibs. They dissapeared from explorer, but the b3d open dialog still showed them. Suppose it'd be UAC, disable it or edit the file with the IDE itself.
