Try my editor:
http://moraldigames.com/Products.html#Products_UDrop
Its free and there are tutorials on building and loading your world into your games with Blitz3D code
All levels in my Xplorer game are made with this editor.

hey moraldi i tried to get u-drop to work but it errored out saying that a hud_image was missing. i would really like to use it but i can't.

I downloaded UDrop from my site and run the installer without any problem.
Which files are missing? Can you please give me more details?
Please re-download and re-install again just in case of a corrupted file.
If you still have problems I can send it to you be e-mail.
Just let me know :)

You can mess around with this. I wrote it way back when. It needs updating but includes full source. It totally writes your level code or saves in text format. If nothing else makes a good model viewer.

When I run UDrop there doesnt appear to be a main menu, have tried downloading and reinstalling but with no luck.

Any ideas?

Hi josk,

1. Start UDrop
2. On the first screen use [ARROW KEYS] to select a resolution to run the application:

3. Confirm your selection by pressing the [ENTER] key
4. You will enter to main program screen which is normally this:

if you can't see all these buttons then exit and run again in order to select a larger resolution.
Please use larger than 1024x768 to see all the buttons

I was following your guide on the homepage, looking for the main menu.
Sorted now, are you planning on taking this further?

I will release a professional version of Unlimited Drop in a couple of months.
It is almost complete but I need some time to write Help files, Tutorials and make extensive application tests.
It is an application with native WinXP GUI and many more capabilities.
Here are some screen shots of Unlimited Drop Pro (UDropPro):

Main workspace:

Meshes with lights:

Custom properties editor:

Unlimited Drop Prop is not free because there is a lot of hard work behind the scenes. But there will be a special very low price for all those B3D users because without help of this community this project would never be released
