Voxel Landscapes

I have an idea of maxing a Voxel type landscape. I don't need high resolution, just say 64x64 pixels and dump that on a texture or something like that. So, I tought maybe instead of making a voxel landscape, I could make a regular B3D landscape and render it to a texture?

you know that voxel = 3D pixel so its 3D.

if you want to bake texture, look at mesh terrains and how they operate with multiple textures. Use that and just "fotograph" the resulting texture at the end with ortographic cam and copy it to a texture.
